NIMIS Update Prealpha 1.0.3


Welcome to another NIMIS hotfix! This small update is focused on rebalancing megakits and adding a pause screen.

PLAYER CHANGES

  • Added a pause screen, which allows you to restart the level, quit or resume.
  • Undid previous bullet size changes.
  • Reworked megakits, they now work as a buffer and temporarily increase your health until you lose it.
  • The player's health ui now goes pink to signify the player is currently overhealed.

PICKUP CHANGES

  • Added back the megakit sound effect.

Before I start adding more complex levels, I just want to get some polish in to make sure that the core game can be built upon. I will probably work on adding a volume slider in the coming days.
